Went to this super cute cafe in the neighborhood earlier today for a pineapple smoothie. It was delicious! Plus the person who took my order was kind enough to throw in a little bag of fruit snacks for free -- totally made my day! Highly recommend you stop here for a smoothie or quick bite if you live nearby or are just passing through!

Excellent cappuccino and friendly service from someone who I wish was my grandma. Very cozy place with plenty of seating and homey decor that's a mishmash of things that are fun to look at. It's definitely a unique cafe in a good way.

Adorable cafe with a cozy, relaxed atmosphere, a very kind owner, great coffee, and delicious made-to-order sandwiches. Some have pointed out that the food takes a bit longer, but that is because the owner takes the time to make each item individually, instead of shoving some pre-made sandwich into a microwave like you'd see at one of corporate behemoth coffee shops. A really great spot to spend a couple hours working, socializing, or just relaxing.

I came here to work on a Sunday afternoon, and it is just the kind of place I have been looking for. They have a nice (thought not particularly wide or diverse) selection of teas. (I don’t know the coffee because I haven’t had any yet.) I got some quiche that was oven (not microwave) heated and it was excellent, served even with a little side of fruit (a nice touch, though unsolicited; it was a bit slow and the person working the counter seemed to be feeling friendly). In terms of environment, this place really has two kinds of cafe in one. There is one area, pictured in their main photo, which is more spacious and have smaller 2-person tables, great for people who need rigid work spaces. I like the back corner, pictured below, since I like spreading out some on a comfy amongst some clutter. (Feels very midwestern, which is comforting and reminiscent of home.) It was generally quiet and great for working, and the person working told me it’s generally this quiet. Overall, a lovely spot. I will surely be back here to get more work done!

Great vibes! Plenty of places to relaxedly sit and read. Good coffee. Very reasonable prices. Chill, Vietnamese music. Awesome owner. Experience a slice of Vietnamese cafe/coffee culture in Chicago! Highly recommended.

Been here many times over the years. The owner lady is always very nice, making and serving food and beverages with a kind and gracious manner. I usually order the breakfast sandwich with crossiant which is in my opinion very fresh and delicious. Coffee is always hot. Nice quiet space to chill alone, get work done or hang out with friends. Always able to find seating easily. Street parkings are easy to find as well. If you're looking for a quiet local cafe, Red Eyes is a great choice!

Espresso is VERY good. The vibes: Immaculate. Any college students want him to study and just get some time to themselves; or a small low key coffee date with a significant other. 11/10 visit on a nice fall day

After the terrible experience from the korean bbq restaurant across the street, it was a breath of fresh air to be greeted with a smile by the sweet lady working in this cafe. The cafe feels very homey, mocha was amazing and just the calm atmosphere is very nice and welcoming Definitely coming back
